Samantha Hardeman

Samantha is delighted to begin her first year of teaching at Dance Theme where she has been a student for the past thirteen years. During that time she studied many disciplines of dance including tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip hop and musical theater.

Samantha’s love for dance is apparent through her willingness to seek out many other opportunities. She continues to learn by taking various dance workshops in Edmonton, Calgary, Jasper, and B.C.; by being a member of Dance Theme’s S.T.A.R. team and participating in many local performances including Relay for Life, Stars of Hope, Hoofin’ for Hunger, Hip Hop for Hope and the World Track and Field Championship Opening Ceremonies.  She has traveled with Dance Theme’s IMPACT performing group in 2001 on the Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas Cruise Ship, 2003 in Disneyland, and in July of 2006 participated in classes at the Broadway Dance Center in New York City.  This past summer Samantha was honored to take classes from world renowned Broadway choreographer and Vaudeville legend Harold “Stumpy” Cromer and was fortunate to perform in his original choreography from 1943 during Hoofin’ for Hunger.

A motto that Samantha truly believes is "tomorrow's success begins today" and she is ready to assist her new students to begin their own personal successes and hopes they all “learn to dance like no one is watching”.

Samantha is currently in her second year of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Grant MacEwan College.
